While the hand continues to heal and physical therapy helps me get it usable again, all I can do for the time being is ponder upcoming parenthood and dream of things like the videos below.

Glad that you're hand is progressing. Miss you guys so much and can't wait to see you all!
Love you!
Han.
God that vid brought back some great memories. I ran the Montrail Spring Desert 50 miler there back in 2004. I ended up dropping down to the marathon finish becasue my feet had huge blisters in the arches. Still it was one of the most awesome places I'd ever had the good fortune to run. Too bad you couldn't get a job in Grand Junction you would be right there. talk to you later.
Sorry to hear about your hand although you're correct - you can still run.
A few years back, I broke my elbow mountain biking a trail I had done hundreds of times before. My bike skidded, I went over the handle bars and smacked a rock. Wasn't fun biking myself out 5 miles either.
I couldn't move my elbow for a few months, but I picked up my running over that time.
The worst part was when I'd trip on a root, but forget MY ELBOW WAS BROKEN! Of course, I'd try to catch myself with my arms before I hit the ground, but when the pain hit me when I extended my elbow, hitting the ground was the better option.
